We raised funds to help Zuki, our beloved cleaner and a dedicated single mother, move to a new home.

Like millions of South Africans, Zuki lives in an informal township with her daughters and grandchildren.

Through the Malachite Foundation, we were able to source Zuki a proper bricks-and-mortar home in a safer neighbourhood . We also made some essential improvements to ensure the property was fully weatherproof ahead of the rainy season.
